Digital Traces Potsdam: Mobility study in Potsdam as part of the MaaS L.A.B.S. project

The research project "MaaS L.A.B.S." aims to contribute to improving mobility in Potsdam Bornstedt. To this end, an app is being developed that can be used to book public transport and new mobility services flexibly and in line with demand. This innovation is intended to make lower-emission forms of transportation even more attractive.

The DLR MovingLab mobility study "Digital Traces Potsdam" from March 2021 is an important contribution to gaining insights into the movement behavior of people in and around Bornstedt and draws conclusions for sustainable mobility solutions. The study was conducted by the Potsdam University of Applied Sciences in cooperation with the University of Siegen and the DLR. It is financially supported by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). Participants were people who regularly travel to, from and through Potsdam Bornstedt, no matter which means of transportation used.
