Privacy policy

Thank you for your interest in the pilot phase of the DLR MovingLab. With this privacy policy notice, we would like to inform you, in a clear way, of the data being surveyed about you and how we use it when you take part in the research project as study participant.

If you have any questions which are not answered by this privacy policy notice, please get in touch with us at any time. You will find our contact data at the end of this privacy policy notice.

1. Who is responsible for the research project?

The research project is carried out by the German Aerospace Centre (DLR), Institute of Transport Research, Rutherfordstraße 2, 12489 Berlin.

2. What is the research project about and why should you take part?

The aim of the pilot phase of the DLR MovingLab is to test the approach of surveying data on mobility behaviour in Germany with the help of mobile telephone-supported and GPS-supported technologies. The findings of the pilot phase will be used to optimise the final design of the DLR MovingLab. In particular, data on the use of modes of transport is required for the mobility research. In the pilot phase, this data is surveyed as a trial in order to ensure that the entire process chain from the surveying, the transfer, up to the analysis of the data is usable and that later, meaningful results will able to be derived from the surveyed data.
